We are very excited to announce that Slim Chickens will soon be expanding to Little Rock!
The new restaurant will be located at 4500 West Markham Street (formerly Backyard Burger), near the UAMS campus.
This Slim Chickens franchise will be independently owned and operated by Little Rock resident Rob Byford.
“Rob has been an area director for Slim Chickens and a trusted friend for almost 10 years now,” said Tom Gordon, Slim Chickens President. “We couldn’t be happier to have him as our Little Rock franchisee.”
Rob opened and managed the Rogers, AR location for the majority of his time with Slim Chickens. For the past several years, he has lived in Little Rock where he served as the area director for Central and Northeast Arkansas locations.
“I’m extremely excited to be bringing Slim Chickens fresh tenders and wings to Little Rock,” Byford said. “My wife and I have been looking for opportunities to open our own restaurant for a long time now. When we found the location on Markham, we knew we had to take it.”
If all goes according to schedule, the West Markham Slim Chickens will be up and running in the spring of 2013.
